During my internship at Box Clever, I designed Luna, a new website theme for Rally K-12. Created as a distinct alternative to Rally's existing themes, Luna gives school divisions a fresh visual foundation that can be adapted to reflect their own identity and community.
After reviewing Rally's existing templates, I explored a different use of typography, layout, spacing and content presentation to create a more distinct experience.
The design extended beyond the homepage into the broader website experience. I considered how navigation, typography, cards, buttons, content sections and internal pages would work together as one cohesive system. Responsive behaviour was also part of the design process, ensuring the layouts could adapt across desktop, tablet and mobile while keeping important information easy to find.
The challenge was to create something distinct enough to expand Rally's website offering while still meeting the practical needs of schools and their communities.
The final template adds another visual direction to the Rally system and gives schools more choice in how their website can look and feel.
